2010 Academic Showcase Dates Announced

For the 8th consecutive year, we will be hosting the original Academic Showcase. This year’s event will be held on Thursday July 29th and Friday July 30th, with Saturday July 31st as the rain date.

Since its inception, over 40 colleges from throughout the East Coast have attended the NJ Twins Academic Showcase annually.

In addition, players from as far away as California, Idaho and Oregon have found success coming to Northern NJ. Please read below for a testimonial.

John,

I just wanted to thank you for the Academic Showcase you sponsored this past weekend. As a parent involved helping his child in the sometimes overwhelming college selection process, your event was an excellent. It was run professionally, had good attendance of highly respected academic institutions and most importantly, permitted the players to showcase their talents in small groups in the best manner by playing games. You and your staff should be highly commended.

Finally, please express our appreciation to Coach Whalen for his time on Saturday night. Both of you provided insight, honesty and information to the boys and their parents about playing college baseball. I know that I and my son Adam learned a lot and we were fortunate to have attended.
